Make Music NOLA was one of fifteen arts organizations accepted into the Bloomberg AIM Program in New Orleans. MMN also received an Extension grant from Bloomberg Philanthropy to work with Michael Kaiser on a strategic plan.

Make Music NOLA was one of fifteen programs in the U.S. chosen to participate in a summit with FundaMusical, the original El Sistema program in Venezuela. Our Executive Director and Head Violin Teacher attended four days of presentations, workshops, site visits, and performances. This summit was organized in New York City in conjunction with Fundamusical's permanent delegation to the United Nations.
